What kind of truth does the “Book of Changes” reveal to people?

If we simply use two answers, it is “yin and yang”. Therefore, “Xi Ci Shang” says: “One yin and one yang is called Tao.” “Zi” says: “Yi Dao Yin and Yang”. A little Zen interpretation, that is, “Zhou Yi” believes that the fundamental law of the universe is the movement and change of the opposite unity of Yin and Yang. Because when Yi was first created, there was not even a written language, of course it is impossible to write it down so clearly in our modern language, but this theme philosophy has been fully expressed in “Zhou Yi”. “Zhou Yi” constructs its own system with two symbols of Yin and Yang, which actually reflects the author’s understanding of the division of the universe into two, the unity of opposites. The Tai Chi diagram of Yin and Yang fish, in a three-dimensional and round unified body, black and white are opposed, and a flowing curve is used to separate the middle, which is to illustrate the movement and change of the opposite unity of Yin and Yang.

It was created to reveal the way of heaven and earth, so as to benefit the people. The house is a simulation of the framework of heaven and earth, the simulation of the formation of the pole, and the simulation of the law of cosmic movement and development in the form of hexagrams based on the author’s long-term observation. What is the framework of heaven and earth and the formation of the universe like? “Xi Ci Shang” also said: “The Book of Changes has Taiji, which gives birth to two yin and yang, two yin and yang give birth to four images, and four images give birth to eight trigrams.” This is the unified explanation of the formation of the universe and the creation of the Book of Changes in “Xi Ci”. “Two yin and yang” refers to heaven and earth in terms of law and image. Why do we say two yin and yang instead of heaven and earth? This is because the two yin and yang not only refer to heaven and earth, but also mainly refer to the two opposite images of yin and yang. Heaven and earth are just the largest and most prominent concrete images of the two yin and yang. Where do the two yin and yang come from? They come from Taiji. What is Taiji? Taiji is the original state of the universe. Because it is the most distant existence, it is called Taiji. How does Taiji give birth to two yin and yang? This requires the help of the Taiji diagram of Yin and Yang fish to understand. It is unknown who created the Tai Chi diagram, but its origins are very ancient. There are yin-yang fish patterns on the pottery jars unearthed in Banpo, Xi’an. The Taiji diagram is a round shape divided by a flowing curve, half of which is white (yang) and half is black (yin), and is usually called the Yin-Yang fish. In fact, the picture does not necessarily show a fish. Its more abstract meaning is the embryo of yin and yang. The curve is used as a boundary in the middle, not for beauty, but to explain the flow of this round shape. The ancients believed that the most ancient state of the universe was the chaotic and undivided primordial energy, which was the embryo of the later things and contained vitality. The primordial energy flowed and split into two, and then the yin and yang were released. The yang energy was light and rose to the sky, and the yin energy was heavy and fell to the earth. This is the legendary creation of heaven and earth, that is, the initial formation of the universe. The yin and yang in the Book of Changes is a simulation of yin and yang. As for why the author explained the formation of the universe in this way, the more convincing explanation is that it is based on the observation of the calendar of heaven and earth, and then inferred. The standard drawing method of the Taiji diagram should be: the two ends of the flowing curve in the middle should be in the upper and lower hanging positions, and the curve should flow vertically.
